All the VELVET products, sold in India, are warranted against any defect in manufacturing for the period mentioned below beginning from the date of purchase.
Warranty includes repairing of defective product/part/s and does not apply to damage resulting from normal wear & tear, abnormal use, misuse, improper use, abuse, neglect or accident.

NOTE: The warranty is not applicable for rubber & Plastic parts of C.P. Fittings. It is applicable only to body, chrome and cartridge.
Terms and Conditions:
- Warranty period is validated from the date of issue of UWN (UNIQUE WARRANTY NUMBER) and can only be availed if the valid proof of purchase or warranty card is shown to Authorized Service Personnel at the time of repairs. Customers are therefore required to keep original invoice or warranty card safely. Repair or replacement will be carried out by company’s service centre or its authorized service associates.
- In the event of repair/replacement of any part/s of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the un-repaired period of warranty. Moreover, the time taken for repair/ replacement and in transit, whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.
- The company and its authorized service centre reserves the right to retain any part/s or component/s replaced at its discretion in the event of a defect noticed in the product during the warranty period.
- Company may at its discretion replace the faulty part (s) with functionally new operative part(s).
- In case of any damage to the product / customer abuse/ repairs by un-authorized personnel/ misuse detected/ by the Authorized Service Centre personnel, the warranty conditions are not applicable and repairs will be done subject to availability of parts and on a chargeable basis only.
- Replacement of parts would be purely at the discretion of VELVET alone. In case the replacement of the entire unit is being made, the same model shall be replaced and in the event such model has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with the model of price equivalent at the time of purchase.
- Damage of any product or parts thereof due to User’s or it’s agent’s misuse, negligence, accident or faulty installation will not be covered under this warranty
- Warranty remains applicable only if the products have been used at all times strictly in accordance to given maintenance guidelines.
- While the company will make every effort to carry out repairs at the earliest, it however is made expressly clear that the company is under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time.
- This warranty shall not cover any consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss to property or life arising directly or indirectly out of any defect in the VELVET Products. The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of defective parts only under the warranty period.
- The warranty does not cover demonstration/installation of the product purchased.
- The warranty includes free of charge 2 years on site warranty services to its purchaser provided the product has been used according to the guidelines issued by VELVET . Else the service would be provided on chargeable basis
- The warranty doesn’t cover components like Washer, Rubbers, Springs and other Plastic Items.
- The warranty does not cover any accessories external to the product. After completion on one year, in case/s other than manufacturing defects are found in VELVET Products, standard labour and parts charges will be collected from customers, as per prevailing rates of the company.
- In case of any dispute, this warranty is subject to jurisdiction of DELHI Courts only.
This warranty is not applicable in following cases:
- Proof of purchase, invoice in Original or Warranty Card is not shown to company authorized service personnel at the time of repair. In such cases service will still be rendered however it will be on chargeable basis as per the standard rates of labour and parts
- Defect caused by improper use, as determined by the company authorized service personnel.
- Defect is caused due to cause beyond control like lightning, acts of God, abnormal water supply/pressure or while in transit from dealer’s outlet to purchaser’s residence.
- Damage to the product or any parts due to transportation or shifting is not covered by warranty.
- This warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period even if the product may not be in use for any time during the warranty period for any reason.
- The warranty shall not be applicable, in case, if the defect is caused due to improper installation, undesirable working environments such as contaminated water, hardness of water beyond the acceptable limits of drinking water or even by improper handling. VELVET shall repair/replace defective components (after examination by authorized technician) on either chargeable basis or free of charge, as is decided by VELVET CARE. For better performance of the product, we recommended water pressure should be between 2.5 bar to 3 bar.
- The warranty is not applicable on any of the MOXIE light ranges products.
Maintenance guidelines of VELVET products
- Carefully inspect the new product for damage before installation.
- VELVET is not liable or shall not be responsible for any such damage/scratch or for improper installation.
- The installation should be done by trained technician.
- Due to presence of minerals and salt in water, scaling is formed on the product if it is not cleaned regularly. The products should be cleaned gently at regular intervals. Also, take extra care to clean the edges and corners of the products because these areas are more vulnerable for scale settling.
- Clean the aerators from time to time for a perfect foam flow of water from the faucet. The property of water being used is very important for your plumbing installations (Pipes etc.), as well as for your own hygiene. The hardness of water should not exceed 300-400ppm.
- Scratching or scrubbing occurs due to hard nature of cloth or coarse cleaning powder being used for cleaning. Use a gentle fluffy soft cloth for cleaning the surface.
- Improper/wrong installation of the products automatically terminates and nullifies this warranty and this warranty does not cover problems arising from low water pressure, more than recommended water pressure, and wear and tear, impurities/hardness beyond the norms of drinking water or improper care and cleaning.
- Carefully inspect the new product for damage before installation.
